Mozilla Firefox:

Open Mozilla Firefox browser. Click the Firefox menu (3-bar icon) and then click Options.

Then, switch to the Search tab. Under Default Search Engine, click on the drop-down arrow. Then, you will see a list of all search engines installed on Firefox browser. Right click the icon of Internet Explorer on your desktop and click the Properties option.

Mozilla Firefox:

Right click the icon of Firefox on your desktop and click the Properties option.

Step 3: Delete the files & folders related to the browser hijacker from your computer.

Open the local disk C, and navigate to the following directories. Look for if there are any folders or files related to the browser hijacker; if there are, delete them.

You can also use the Windows search function to search for the related files and folder. Double click the “Computer” icon from your desktop, enter “” into the search box and wait for the search results. Once you find any item related to the browser hijacker, delete it from your PC.

Press Window key + R key at the same time, and a Run command box will open. Type “regedit” into the box and click OK. This will open the registry editor.
